Who we are

SiteGrid Technologies Kft. (“SiteGrid”, “we”) operates sitegridhq.com and is the controller of the personal data described here. Our registered seat is 5931 Nagyszénás, Dobó köz 27., Hungary, company registration number 04-09-016696. The full company details are on our company details page.

What we collect

When you ask for a free site check or send us an enquiry we collect the details you enter — your name, email address, your website address, and any notes you add. We also process basic technical data (such as IP address and request logs) needed to serve and secure the site, and anonymous, aggregated usage statistics.

How we use it

We use enquiry details only to run the site check you asked for, to send you the report, and to follow up on it once. Technical data is used to operate, secure and troubleshoot the site. Aggregated statistics help us understand which pages are useful. We never sell your data.

Our legal basis

Under Article 6 GDPR: enquiry and site-check details are processed to answer you and to prepare the report — steps taken at your request ahead of any engagement (Art. 6(1)(b)). Technical data and request logs rest on our legitimate interest in operating and securing the site (Art. 6(1)(f)). Our analytics are cookieless and collect no personal data, so there is nothing here that depends on consent.

Third parties

We use Web3Forms to deliver form submissions to our inbox, Plausible Analytics for usage statistics, and Hetzner Online GmbH for hosting, on our own server in Germany. These providers act as our processors and handle data only to deliver their service to us.

Transfers outside the EU

This site and everything it serves are hosted inside the European Economic Area. Where a processor handles data outside it, the transfer relies on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses. What gets transferred is what is described above: the details you type into a form, and the technical data needed to serve the page.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies. We use no advertising cookies and no cross-site tracking. Plausible Analytics counts page views without cookies and without collecting personal data, which is why there is no cookie banner to click through.

How long we keep it

Enquiry and site-check details: 12 months after we last spoke, then deleted — unless it leads to an engagement, in which case we keep them for as long as our contractual and accounting obligations require. Server logs (IP address, request metadata): up to 30 days. Aggregated analytics: 12 months.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, delete or port your data, ask us to restrict processing, and object to processing based on legitimate interest. We answer requests within one month at the latest. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Hungarian data protection authority (NAIH, 1055 Budapest, Falk Miksa utca 9-11., naih.hu) or to go to court. If you are in another EU member state, you may complain to your own national authority instead.

We may update this policy as the site evolves. The date above shows when it last changed.
