Privacy notice

Who we are

SiteGrid ("we") is the data controller for this website, sitegridhq.com. Contact us about anything in this notice at hello@sitegridhq.com.

What we collect and why

Contact and site-check forms

When you use a form on this site we receive what you type: typically your name, company, email address, phone number, website address and your message. We use it to reply to you, to prepare the site check report you asked for, and to follow up once about it. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries, and, for the site check, the steps needed before entering a contract with you.

Forms are delivered to us by Web3Forms, a form-handling service, which processes the submission on our behalf and passes it to our email. Web3Forms does not use the data for its own purposes.

Email

If you email us, we keep the correspondence for as long as we are dealing with your enquiry and for our records afterwards, as described below.

Analytics

We use Plausible Analytics, which counts page views without cookies and without collecting personal data. It does not track you across sites, and there is nothing to consent to, which is why this site has no cookie banner.

Cookies

This website sets no cookies.

Who we share it with

Nobody, except the service providers named above who process data on our behalf (form handling, email and hosting), and where the law requires it. We do not sell or rent your details.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted within twelve months. If you become a client, we keep the correspondence and records for six years after the work ends, to meet our legal and accounting obligations.

Where it is stored

Our email and hosting providers may store data outside the UK. Where they do, transfers are covered by the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or an adequacy decision.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to our processing, or ask us to restrict it. Email hello@sitegridhq.com and we will respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
